2026: B · 2027: C. We follow the French naming tradition as a small way of honoring where this breed began. Your puppy’s letter follows the year they were born, even if homecoming falls in the next year.
The cycle uses 20 letters, leaving out K, Q, W, X, Y, and Z. In 2024 the letter was V; in 2025 it was A.
Your dog’s registered name begins with the year’s letter and ends with “du Joie de Vie.” I look forward to hearing your ideas. We will confirm the registered name and call name together, including a suitable shortened version when helpful.
