Welcome to Joie de Vie
I’m Angie Robertson. The Beauceron’s strength, sensitivity, and unmistakable presence first drew me in. The life we have shared with these dogs—and the people they have brought into our lives—is what keeps me devoted to this work.
Here in the Las Vegas area, I plan each pairing with future generations in mind, get to know our puppies as individuals, and help our owners understand the dogs they are raising. I want you to love your Beauceron and feel confident coming to me through every stage of that life together.

Why I love this breed
Beautiful breed type matters to me. So do a capable body, a thoughtful mind, and the temperament that meets you at the door each day. I consider health information, structure, movement, working ability, and what I know of the generations behind every pairing. I want those qualities to develop together.
Explore our males, females, conformation accomplishments, and performance achievements. On our health page, I explain how individual findings inform my decisions. Each dog deserves to be understood as a whole.
Learning is part of raising a dog. I help our owners understand nutrition, confidence, calm independence, training, and appropriate conditioning as their dogs mature. I want you to understand the why, feel capable, and enjoy the process. See how our partnership grows.
The proud moments, the questions, the mistake you wish you had handled differently—those conversations matter. Compassion and candid guidance belong together. Current JDV owners have unlimited access to me by text and phone. When showing is more helpful than explaining, I also offer video calls for demonstrations. Hear from the people who know that relationship firsthand.
I founded Coordinated Systems Restoration (CSR), and that systems-focused work informs my attention to nutrition, digestive health, stress resilience, recovery, and development. Watching our dogs grow across generations keeps me learning. Get to know my approach.
Whether this is your first Beauceron or your next working partner, I value kindness, curiosity, integrity, and follow-through. I love a community that celebrates one another and shares what it learns. A rising tide lifts all boats.
Why preservation matters to me
Preservation partners share in the future of this breed. I retain breeding rights and direct breeding decisions; cooperation is an agreed responsibility from the beginning. I explain those commitments openly so you can decide whether this shared purpose feels right for you. Read about the partnership and its responsibilities.
Getting to know you
Choosing a Beauceron is a meaningful decision. I want you to feel informed, excited, and comfortable with the relationship you are entering. Start by exploring our program, then complete the application, signed agreement, and $200 credited deposit when you are ready. Our puppies are $3,500.
Your application helps me get to know your household, your hopes, and the life you can offer. I call within one week of completed enrollment to build rapport and clarify matching priorities, then reconnect when a litter is born to confirm your timeline and readiness. You can ask questions while waiting, and I share photos and videos by text. Here is how we stay in touch.
Your selected gender is guaranteed; color is not. If you are open to black and tan, I can consider a wider range of suitable puppies for you. Before accepting a specific puppy, you may defer for as long as you wish without forfeiting your deposit. The enrollment terms also explain the one-year refund option if no suitable puppy of your requested gender is offered.
I want the match to feel right for the life you will share.
Living with a Beauceron
The intelligence, athleticism, discernment, and deep connection of this breed are qualities I treasure. They also ask something of us: daily involvement, patient teaching, thoughtful leadership, and room for a young dog to learn.
I want you to fall in love with the real Beauceron, including the everyday work of living with one. My Breed Guide & Temperament walks through life with children and other pets, exercise, rest, training, grooming, and the practical questions worth asking before you commit.
Take your time. A good decision begins with knowing what matters to you—and understanding what your dog will need from you. Explore the JDV partnership.
